DoubleTape was conceived and created by a professional tradesman who realized how much easier his work would be if a tape measure could be read from the underside. DoubleTape measuring tape will make any measuring job easier. The measurements are printed on both the upper and lower surface of the blades. Unlike normal tapes which buckle when turned over, DoubleTape blade remains rigid for overhead use. This saves time, effort, and frustration. With DoubleTape, take advantage of the excellent standout length; extend the tape overhead with one hand. Take the measurement from the underside of the tape and use your free hand for marking. You won't need to wrestle like you would with ordinary tapes, and you won't need a helper to hold the tape. Markings are in Feet and Inches with additional highlighting at each 16 inch length for marking standard studs. Additional markings are also at each 485mm interval for use with side studs.
